Virginia H. Jackson, 95, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 19, 2014 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lewis Stover, Pastor Gerry Golden, and Pastor Brad Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home and can be contacted at the residence, 101 Riverview Dr., Eatonton, GA 31024.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late William and Pirnal Hogan and is preceded in death by her husbands, Baynard Holloman and Andrew Dalton Jackson; daughter, Gwendolyn Radford; son, Sidney Holloman; grandson, Mark Stevens; and several brothers and sisters. She was a nurse for the Houston County Hospital and was a lifelong member of the Church of God. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed her time at Lake Sinclair, gospel music, fishing, camping, spending time with her family, and was known for her amazing lemonade. She could also be heard saying, "I'm fine as frog hair and it split both ways."

She is survived by her daughters, Wynette Stevens and Gaye (Houston) Graham; sister, Patricia Strayhorn; grandchildren, Marlene Bruce, Cheryl (Jim) Whitaker, Ginger (Bobby) Broski, Willette (Craig) Waterman, Lon Radford, Lawanna Holland, Wendy Baker, Dale Graham, Darvin Graham, Denise Slusser, Joan Talbot, and Rhonda Rogers; 26 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Gracie.

The family would also like to thank Heartland Hospice and her caregivers, Virginia Collins, Barbara Roberson, Lachelle Mason, Jackie Milner, and Tarneshia Maddox.
