PORT HENRY, N.Y. - Harvey Lawrence Potter, age 61, of Lakeview Avenue in Port Henry, passed away on Monday, November 25th 1985 at the Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga, N.Y.

He was born on July 9th 1924 in Burlington, Vt., he was the son of George Arthur and Norine Gertrude (Atwell) Potter.

He was a Veteran of World War II.

He married Marilyn A. Waldron on November 19th 1971. Together they had one daughter.

He worked beside his wife on the Farm they lived on.

Mr. Potter was a self employed Truck Driver and a Bus Driver for Beldon and Edwards Inc. in Port Henry, N.Y.

He was a former Patrolman for the Port Henry Police Department and a former member of the Port Henry Fire Department.

He sold Potters Ice; blocks of ice in Port Henry, N.Y.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, four sons, and five grandchildren.

Arrangements by the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry, N.Y.

Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Moriah, N.Y.
