Jerry Newman, 74, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 15, 2014, at home.
The service will be held later in Washington.
Mr. Newman was a son of Martin and Irma Newman and a 4-H specialist and professor at Washington State University. He and his wife were full-time RV’ers until purchasing a home in Casa Verde Estates.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Karen; three sons, Erik, Ian and Jason; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Washington State 4-H Foundation.
Angels in Waiting Casa Grande Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
