Note: Believed to be an Alden of Plymouth by descendents of her second Thomas who had moved to the Plymouth area, then to NH, then to Barre, VT. However, there is no will or marriage record giving her maiden name, nor is one cited on her gravestone. Some in recent times confused her John French of Braintree with a younger John French who went to Northampton and was a son-in-law of John Kingsley of Rehoboth. This mistake led to speculation she was a Kingsley, for which there is no evidence. An Alden who married a Bass is in this cemetery, but there are no Kingsleys here. (Contributor JBrown #48697180)
