WEYMOUTH - Walter F. Reeves, 62, entered into eternal life on May 27, 2014.
Wally was born in Lynn, and grew up in Dorchester before moving to Weymouth in 1979.
Mr. Reeves was a Vietnam era Army Veteran.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service Office as a letter carrier in Roxbury.
He was the life partner of Karen M.(Keenan) MacLean of Weymouth. He was the loving father of Jennifer Reeves Potter and husband Jeffery Potter of Plainville, Rachel MacLean of Rockland, Diana Lekkas and her husband George Lekkas of Weare, N.H., John MacLean III of Weymouth, brother of Kathleen Reeves Walsh of Foxboro, James McLaughin of Foxboro, Edward Miller of Rockland, Maine, Valerie Reeves of Framingham, and the late Mary Reeves.
He was the loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A memorial funeral Mass will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth on Saturday, June 7 at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
