She was born December 6, 1953 in Connersville, one of four children born to Louis and Judith Ann (Horner) Jones.
She had worked at Stant Manufacturing and later was employed at J & J Packaging in Brookville, Indiana.
She was a member of Community Gospel Church and enjoyed attending church services, going to Bluegrass Music on Friday evenings locally, watching her favorite soap operas and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Tania Lay and Lisa Lay and her companion Ron Chance, both of Connersville, four grandchildren, Tiffany Jackson and her husband Joshua, Devon Shepard, Cierra Hoeg and Alexis Chance, all of Connersville, and a sister, Cherryl McQueen and her husband Carson of Connersville; she was also blessed with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Jones, and a sister, Linda Jones.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, Pastor Phil Marcum with the Church of Salvation, officiating; burial will be in Dale Cemetery – family and friends may call from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
