MCMINNVILLE - Johnny went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon with his family by his side at the age of 69, after a long and courageous battle with ALS for over 10 years.
Johnny was born in Salem, Oregon to Johnnie and Wilma Graham. He graduated from North Salem High in 1963 then joined the Army Reserves from 1963 - 1970.
He met his true love Bonnie on Jan. 14, 1978 and they married on Oct. 14 that same year. Together they raised five children in the Salem area. They moved to McMinnville in 2004.
Johnny enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, camping, cars and racing. He really loved traveling. Trips to Hawaii and Disneyland were his top favorites.
He spent many summers at Parrish Little League coaching, running the concession stand and watching his children play baseball and softball.
Johnny loved his family and always made sure they came first. His ultimate passion was spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Wilma Graham and his grandson Kasey Aidan Brooks.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie of McMinnville, son, Ronny of Salem, son John Jr. (Jennifer) of Salem, Jayme of McMinnville, son Casey (Ana) of McMinnville, his only daughter Ginger (Terry) of Dallas and brothers Rick of Salem and Steve of Woodburn.
Johnny was blessed with nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. As well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday Oct. 9th from 12pm - 5pm and Memorial Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 10th at 1pm, both at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Services. Interment will follow services at Restlawn Memory Gardens.

Gravesite Details
March 2016: Restlawn said that no grave marker has been placed yet. He is in the military section, and the military is in charge of sending the grave marker. If there is a family member who can call, perhaps they could get a stone.
