Cecil O. Wetzbarger, 91, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the Windsor Health Care Center in Windsor, CO. He was born March 11, 1923, in Brush to Guy & Annie Wetzbarger. Cecil lived, and worked, in the Denver metro area for several years. He worked as a food broker for Rainbow Bread Company, and later Frito Lay retiring in 1979 and then worked for MJB Distributors. After retiring a second time, he later moved back to Fort Morgan. While living in Denver, Cecil was a member, and served as Worshipful Master in 1970, of the Centennial #84 AF & AM Masonic Lodge. While living in Morgan County, he was a past member of the El Jebel Shrine. Cecil loved to dance. He was frequently seen at dances all over northeastern Colorado. He will be remembered by many as a very proud man. Survivors include his son, Randall (Donna) of Frederick, CO; daughter, Candi Jean Dockins; his sister, Ethel Schippert of Brush; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas; 7 sisters and brothers and his parents. A memorial service with masonic rites will be held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush Friday, October 17 at 1:30 p.m. Inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Front Range Hospice in Erie, CO. -
