She performed various jobs over time including Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant, Red River Army Depot, real estate sales, and St. Michaels Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She and her husband, Everett, were a long time members of Rose Hill Baptist Church, and later in life she was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Everett Decker Ellison, brothers James Baxter of Las Vegas, NV., and Murray Baxter of Ft. Worth, grandson Kenneth Dickerson of San Antonio, great-grandson Justin Hildebrandt of Texarkana, Texas.
Survivors include one son David W. Ellison and wife Rose Anne of Plano Texas, daughter Charlotte A. Dickerson and husband Leslie of Leonard, Texas, daughter Lynda S. Hildebrandt and husband Roger., 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1pm Wednesday at First Lutheran Church on Texas Blvd. in Texarkana Texas with Reverend Darren Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
