Patsy R. Carroll, 81, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014, at Martin Luther Home, Clinton, NY. She was born in Clarksville, MO, on March 3, 1933, daughter of the late Vivian O. and Ruth E. Bibb Black. Mrs. Carroll graduated from Western Kentucky University with a master's degree in Special Education. In 1953, she married, Ansel Robert Carroll, in Columbia, MO. He passed away July 12, 2008. Patsy was an Avon Representative in N. Syracuse. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Bill Ziemba, Deansboro; a son, Mike Carroll, N. Syracuse; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Judy Black, Bowling Green, MO; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ansel and a brother, Ted Black. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 435 S. Main St., N. Syracuse. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Homes, 110 Utica Rd., Clinton, NY, 13323.
