ASHEBORO - Mabel Akins Cox 83, of Monroe Manor Rest & Retirement and formerly of Asheboro, died Monday, August 4, 1997.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 1997, at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, with Rev. Ted Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 1997, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Douglas L. Cox of Indian Trail, NC; grandson, Scott Cox; granddaughters, Kelly Cox and Robyn Harrell; and two great-grandchildren.
