She was the last surviving member of her side of the family.
Mrs. Peters was born April 3, 1879 at Crates, Clarion County the daughter of Conrad and Alice Stahlman Aaron.
The deceased was a member of St. Nicholas Church at Crates.
She is preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Johns who died in 1910, and was later married to Harvey Peters who died in 1961.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Pearl) Frampton of Clarion RD 2, Mrs. Albert (Charlotte) Gathers of Mayport RD 2, Mrs. William (Alma) Redman of Grove City; a son, Melvin Johns, Kittanning RD 6, 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
PETERS - Friends of Mary Aaron Peters of Mayport RD 2, Armstrong County, who died Feb. 23 1970, will be received in the Charles D. Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn, after 2 p.m. today until 9:30 a.m., Thursday. The body will then be removed to St. Nicholas Church at Crates where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph W. Burke, pastor of her church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Church Cemetery, Clarion County. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Arrangements by Alcorn.
