Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Hudgins was born June 22, 1916 to George and Ruby (Deal) Anglin in Williamson County, Tennessee. She passed away October 13, 2014 at the NHC Healthcare Center in Dickson. She was 98 years of age.

Survivors include: son James Robert Hudgins (Barbara) of Fairview; daughters Ruby Charlene Varden and Laura Diane Clowers (both of Fairview; brothers Lester Anglin of Freeman, Virginia and Hobert Anglin of Washington; sister Una Langer of Carnegia, Pennsylvania and Sarah Sweeney of Dickson; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Hudgins is preceded in death by her husband Odie Hudgins, brother Robert Anglin, sisters Ester Austin, Lillian "Pat" Downey, Trudy Henke, Anna McKinney, Edna Webb, and Fannie Clark, and half-brother Melvin Anglin.

She was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ. Graveside services were Wednesday, October 15th, with Bro. Gary Anderson officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery.
