Mrs. Kemmer Dies Monday
Mrs. Jacob Kemmer, Sr., resident of the North Headlight section, died on Monday morning of this week. She had been ill for some time with stomach trouble, and with Mr. Kemmer went to Seattle during the summer, to visit her daughter and undergo medical treatment. However, the treatment did not avail and they returned to Cut Bank about a month ago.
Mrs. Kemmer, who was about 65 years of age, was born in Jugo Slavia and came to the United States in 1906, the family locating near Harper, Kansas. They came to the Cut Bank section about ten years ago. Mrs. Kemmer was of sturdy Teuton stock and was a woman of fine character and well thought of by all who knew her.
The husband and four children survive: Adam, Nick, Jake and Mrs. Leo Butler of Seattle, and to them the sympathy of the community is extended.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father R. G. Greven at the Catholic church on Wednesday forenoon and the remains were taken to Crown Hill after the services.
