Sybil N. Adams CLOVER - Sybil Nivens Adams, 75, of Clover, S.C. died on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at home. Her graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home at 209 N. Main Street in Clover. "Mama Sybil" was born July 3, 1939, in York, S.C. to the late James Harvey and Margaret Anna McCarter Nivens. She was also known by many as the "wallpaper lady". Sybil hung wallpaper for over 40 years with the help of whoever she could convince to go with her and she loved every minute of it. She was the widow of Newton Adams. Survivors are her daughters, Anna K. Adams, Alison A. Clinton (Wayne) and Amanda A. Robinson (Cam); son, Andy N. Adams (Natalie); sister, Sandra Stroupe; brothers, Steve Nivens, Roger Nivens and Keith Nivens, all of Clover, S.C.; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Clinton. Memorials may be made to Clover Christian Fellowship, 1521 N. Jim McCarter Road, Clover, SC 29710 or Hospice and Community Care, P. O.
