Cora Lee known as Leigh Hickey was born on a large farm of 200 acres where she lived with her Mom and Dad, brother Robert, sister Minnie and brother Walter until she left home. She went to California and worked as a actress for awhile. She then met her husband Jim who became a large builder of communities in California. They lived in Woodland Hills with her son Steven and daughter Cynthia. Her husband Jim died in 1970 of a brain tumor and her son Steven died of cystic fibrosis shortly after. A year later her daughter Cynthia died of a drug overdose. She lived out her life in Palm Desert CA where she died from cancer.
