Ross Harmon
LEXINGTON Ross Samuel Harmon
a city council member and owner and
operater of the Harmons Macihine
shop for 30 years died Wednesday.
He was born July 17 1907 in Wapella,
a son of Samuel and Charlotte Jones
Harmon. He married Helen Smith and
later married Helen Boain in 1940 in
Missouri. At the time of his death
he was city water commissioner and had
been a city council member for 16 years.
He was former chief of the Lexington fire
department and was a former member of
the school board.
He was a member of the Bloomington
Consistory and the Lexington lodge, AF
&AM.
