Sara J. "Cookie-Sally" (Zomp) Cook, 72, of North Versailles, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014. She was the beloved wife of 38 years to Jon Cook; dear daughter of Catherine and the Late Joseph Zomp; mother of the late Tanya Marie Cook; sister of Michael (Kelly) Zomp, Joseph (Sharon) Zomp and the late John Zomp. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends who loved her. Mrs. Cook was a nurse at UPMC McKeesport for many years. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Alfieri Funeral Home, 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, 412-824-4332. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery
