Age 82 of Owosso passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Memorial Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Owosso First Church of the Nazarene with Murphy Gill officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10am until the time of service.
Edith was born October 11, 1930 in Tientsin, China, the daughter of Leon & Libbie (Hare) Supernois.
She graduated from Milford High School and was a member of the Owosso Church of the Nazarene. Edith loved her Lord and church; she was Missionary President for 9 years and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and sewing; especially clothes for her girls. Edith also enjoyed the challenge of puzzles but most of all she loved time spent with her family.
Edith married on March 23, 1957 in Angola, Indiana.
She was employed with Samaritan Hospital in Nampa, Idaho, McLaren Hospital in Flint and Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso working in Radiology, Radiation Therapy and Nuclear Medicine.
Edith is survived by her husband of nearly 56 years; 2 daughters; 3 grandchildren D; 2 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Thomas and Alice Vail.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Church of the Nazarene Missions or Compassionate Ministries.
