Mrs. Alice Jones, Dies
Rome – Mrs. Alice K. Jones, 77, of 912 No Madison St., sister of Mrs. Harry H. (Freda M.) Canfield and Mrs. J. Carlton (Rose I.) Stockwell of Watertown, died Tuesday in the Rome Hospital.
She was the widow of Edward E. Jones, who died in 1956.
Mrs. Jones was born in West Leyden, a daughter of George C. and Eva Briggs Ammon. She attended school there.
She was married to Mr. Jones in Boonville in 1914.
She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and Ceridwen Lodge of True Ivorites.
The funeral will be at 1 Thursday from the Griffin and Aldridge Funeral Home with burial in Wright Settlement Cemetery. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today.

Mrs. Alice K. Jones, 77, 912 North Madison Street, Rome, died last Tuesday in Rome Hospital.
Funeral was Thursday at 1 p.m. at Griffin and Aldridge Funeral Home. Burial was in Wright Settlement Cemetery.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Harry H. (Freda M.) Canfield and Mrs. J. Carlton (Rose I.) Stockwell , both of Watertown.
