Thomas Eugene "Tom" Shepherd, 75, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014. Born to the late Joe and Elma Slone Shepherd on July 15, 1939, he was retired from state government, Department of Transportation as a photogrammetist.

He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gaines, Frankfort; one son, Tom (Cathy) Shepherd Jr. of Flowermound, Texas; two step-daughters, Linda Flynn, Frankfort, and Connie Laudenslager of Virginia; four grandchildren, TJ (Lexie) Gaines and Monica Gaines, both of Frankfort, Tant and Syler Shepherd, both of Flowermound; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Landyn and Ty Gaines. He is also survived by loving brothers, George, Jimmy (Frances), Joe (Setsuko) and Donnie Shephers; and his very special sister, Bethel Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty "Boots" Shepherd; sister-in-law, Alverda Shepherd and step-daughter, Janice Johnson.

Funeral services will be 1:30pm Wednesday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30am until service time.
