Shirley Pearl King Buresh, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006.

She was born August 19, 1936 to Dearl Jackson King and Annetta Elizabeth Shaw in Schleswig, Iowa. After high school graduation Shirley attended Business College in Omaha. In 1958, she married Clarence Buresh in Omaha, Nebraska. Shirley, a homemaker, had also worked in the accounting department at The Ortloff Corporation and as a claims agent at Farmers Mutual. Shirley was a resident of Omaha until moving to Midland in 1972. Her hobbies included knitting, bowling, traveling, cooking and collecting recipes, genealogy, creating Christmas stockings, and cake decorating.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Clarence Buresh of Midland, TX; son Brad Buresh of Edmond, OK; daughters, Laurie Huff of Rockwall, TX; Cindy Martin of Midland, TX; Amy Elrod of Midland, TX; and Lisa Raphael of Canyon Country, CA; sister, Louise Zeurcher of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Dearl King, Jr., of Galva, IA; grandchildren, Chris Huff, Amanda Huff, Megan Huff, Austin Williams, Nicole Buresh, Rori Buresh, Garret Martin and Michelle Martin.

Services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 24, 2006 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Terry Elrod, Austin Williams, Randy Huff, Chris Huff, Brian Martin and Garret Martin.
