Lester Priest in charge. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Mr. Carpenter has been in ill health for four years. He was a life-long resident of Harbor Springs, and was born there March 14, 1881 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Carpenter. He was married April 20, 1910 to Celia Eldred in Petoskey. Mr. Carpenter was a gardener. Surviving are the wife; a son, Leonard, Harbor Springs; a grandson and three nieces. The body is at the Erwin Funeral Home where friends may call Tuesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
