Reg. on 23 Oct. 1862.Promoted to Full 2nd Lt. on 2 April 1863.Mustered out on 10 Aug. 1863 at Brattleboro,VT. Became an Allopath in Holyoke,MA.His wife was former Emma M. Cox who was born in New Hampshire.His children were Stanley born 1884,Allen H. born 1873 Fannie M. born 1877 and Frank born 1880.All children were born in South Hadley,MA.
