JESUP, Ga. April 20 ---David A. Aldrich, 75, died tonight after a brief illness.
He was a native of South Carolina but had lived in Wayne County for the past 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Delphia Aldrich, Odum; five daughters, Mrs. Rosa Thornton, Waycross; Mrs. Jack Woodcock, Patterson; Mrs. Carl Barber, Waycross; Mrs. Arch Sheffield, Screven; and Mrs. Fannie Guest, Alma; eight sons, Herman and Floyd of Blackshear, Ivey of Patterson, Lonnie, Lester, Talmadge, Joe and Estes "Bob", all of Odum; 29 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Old Ritch Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Frank Harris and the Rev. J. R. Graham.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Harrison Funeral Home of Jesup in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Henry, Ellis, Walter, and Ralph Ring, Hazel Jones and Carl Clements.
