Selma – Charles Henry ”Peg” Woodall, age 85, died Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Sunrise at North Hills in Raleigh. Born July 5, 1929 in Johnston County to the late William Henry and Irene Morgan Woodall, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hicks Woodall. Peg was a member of the Selma Lions Club, Selma Masonic Lodge # 320 and Johnston County Shrine Club. He was also very civic minded, serving for many years with the Selma Rescue Squad and the board of the Selma Public Library. Peg was a US Air Force veteran.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Mr. Luby C. Tyner, Jr. officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens.
