Daniel H. James, 63, Summoned by Death
Daniel H. James, 226 Union street, Taylor, died at 12:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon in his home after a long illness. He was sixty-three years of age.
Mr. James, who was a former foreman at D. and H. collieries, the Pine Ridge and Greenwood, was a member of Acatia lodge, F. & A. M., and the Keystone consistory.
He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Frank Moore, Bloomfield, N. J.; a son, William, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Lettie Sickler, Scranton; Mrs. William Edwards, Scranton, and Mrs. William Smith, Taylor; and a brother, Samuel James, Taylor.
The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late home. Additional services will be held in the Congregational church at 2:30 o'clock. Interment, Washburn Street cemetery.
