SUGAR, Alice Lillian, age 84 of Flint, died October 10, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, October 14 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing. Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Family and friends will gather at the church Tuesday from 10-11 AM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimers Association.

Alice was born February 1, 1930 in Flint the daughter of Robert and Lillian (Dullenger) Fleming. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and a resident of Genesee County most of her life. She retired from AC Spark Plug. Alice had a great love for her family and animals.

Surviving are: daughter Alison (Joey) Richvalsky of Goodrich; son John Sugar of Flushing; three grandchildren, Monte, Blair and Joseph Richvalsky; sister Lucille (Mark) Baldwin of Flushing; sister-in-law, Shirley Fleming of Grand Blanc; many nieces and nephews; special Niece Georgeann (Eldon) Lurvey. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Stephen Sugar; sisters, Dorothy Bitzinger, Jean Sanborn, Marion Wolbert, Gertrude Sherwood, Margaret "Bab" Kluck; brother James Fleming; nephew, Mike Lurvey. The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Durand Senior Care.
