OGDEN - Berniece Allred Anderson, loving mother, grandmother and friend, 86, formerly of Brigham City, died on Thursday, September 28, 1995, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 22, 1909, in Lindon, Utah, a daughter of Lawrence E. and Edah E. Maxfield Allred.

She married Paul E. Anderson on June 10, 193I in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 2, 1967.

She was an active member of the LDS Church. She had been a teacher and president of the YWMIA and Relief Society. She served on the Stake Relief Society Board for 15 years and was a Temple Ordinance worker for 12½ years.

She was a member of the Community Choir for many years and served as a guide at the Box Elder Tabernacle. She was a member of the Civic Improvement Club and the Book Lore Club.

She, along with her husband, owned and operated the Reminder Office Supply in Brigham City from 1941 to 1968. She was then employed by the Box Elder School District for five years.

She is survived by two sons and three daughters: Paul E. & Judy Anderson, Las Vegas, NV; Ronald A. & Rosi Anderson, Mission Viejo, CA; Joanne & Dean H. Ahlmer, Ogden; Eda & Devere M. Watkins, Kaysville; and Sharon A. Iverson, Torrance, CA; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held Monday at I I a.m. in the Canyon View LDS Second Ward, 9th Street & Harrison, Ogden.

Interment in the Brigham City Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Petersen Funeral Chapel, Brigham.
