Hilda Holm Andersen, 92. our dear little mama. passed away May 17 , 1997, at her mountain home in Mantua, UT, of causes incident to age.

She was born January 12, 1905, in Ammon, ID. She was the daughter of Carl Otto and Viktorina Karlsson Holm, the third of eight children. Hilda married Edwin L. Andersen, September 25, 1929, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Edwin precedcd her in
death July 26, 1989.

Following high school. she entered nursing school at the LDS hospital in Idaho Falls, beginning a nursing tradition in the family. Her three daughters and three granddaughters followed her in this profession. She will be remembered as a registered nurse, having worked at the Pearse and Cooley Memorial hospitals. Later in her career, she was office nurse for Dr. J. Gordon Felt and Dr. Reed Merrill, retiring alter 18 years.

Hilda and Ed loved their "Blue Heaven" - the farm south of Mantua. Many people enjoyed the berries and apples that they produced. Hilda's family and friends remember her as a great cook, an avid gardener, and they will always treasure her beautiful handiwork.

A lifelong. active member of the LDS church. Hilda served as a leader and teacher in many,organizations, including serving in the Ogden LDS temple for five years. She enjoyed many years of membership in the Book Lore Club and as an adopted member of the D.U.P.

She is survived by her three daughters. AIvarene (Alma) Warren. Brigham City; Pauline (LaMoine) Anhder, Gilroy, CA; and Karen (Ben) Smith, Mantua. UT; 14 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son. Edwin Kay: three brothers; four sisters, and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, lr4ay 21, at Brigham City LDS Sixth/Eleventh Ward Chapel, 506 South 200 East. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery arrangements by Myers Mortuary.
