John A. Michael, 69, of 813 Thompson st., Schenectady, died at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Worden, on the Brewerton road, town of Salina, Friday night.

Mr. Michael was born in Onondaga County and moved to Schenectady 40 years ago. He was custodian of a public school.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Libby Haberer Michael; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Mott of Schenectady and Mrs. Viola Price of Hazeltown, Pa.; a brother, Julius Braig; a sister, Mrs. John Gratzer, and a grandchild. Services will be conducted from the home of another sister-in-law, Mrs. George White, on the Brewerton road Tuesday and a requiem mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret's Church.
