* Memorial originally created by Richard Donald Rogers (1932 - 2018). It is now managed by Brandi Hubbard, his granddaughter. I’ve decided to keep the original text that he wrote, here in grandma’s bio, because he wrote from his heart with love and dedication to his Jeanie.

Grandma’s bio, in granddaddy’s words:

“Jean Doris was born and raised in Mountain City, Tennessee with her brother, Frederick. Her parents were Glenn and Vena Adams. Jean’s husband is Richard Rogers and her children are Angela & LuVonne [alternate: LaVonne]. Jean came to the Washington DC area and worked for the Commerce Department, as well as the DC Department of Education. Jean and Richard were married 18 October 1958.”

“I miss that woman every day.”
— grandaddy, spoken of grandma Jean after her passing

Love & miss you both, grammy & granddad ~~~
