Mr. Lynn Darrell Boyd, 69, of Laurel, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Phil Smith will officiate.
Mr. Boyd worked in oil and gas. He was a veteran of the U. S. Armed Forces serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Boyd.
Survivors include his son, Chuck Boyd of Yukon, OK; two step sons, Johnny and David Walters both of Laurel; three step daughters, Darlene Davis and Rena Wade both of Laurel and Michelle Bassett of Louin; two grandchildren, Braxton and Savanna Boyd; and three sisters, Jean Connell of Ellisville and Jan Rowell and Pam Barefoot both of Laurel.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 at Memory Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
