Melba Alums Jackson of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on October 5, 2014. Visitation ill be on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Leak memory Chapel from 10:00 until 10:45. The funeral service will follow at 11:00a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery;

Mrs. Jackson was born in Montgomery, Alabama. She was one of the founding members of Dalraida Church of Christ. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William G. Jackson. She is survived by her sons: William G. (Buddy) Jackson, II and wife, Janna, Montgomery, Alabama, Gregory Emory Jackson, New York City, NY; her daughter, Melba Jill Johnson and husband Bill of Montgomery; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
