Trina Renee Johnson AMHERST-Trina Renee Johnson, the daughter of the late Ular Johnson and Sophia Burkley Johnson was born Feb. 20, 1969, in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from Amherst High School in 1988. She worked at American Cotton Grower for over seven years until her health took a turn. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, she departed life. Preceding her in death are her beloved father, Ular Johnson; sister, Ada Faye White; and brother, Tony Scott. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: mother, Sophia Johnson; two sisters, Mattie (George) Bradley of Anton, Texas; Sharon Johnson of Littlefield, Texas; eight brothers, Donald Johnson, Craig (Darlene) Johnson, both of Amherst, Ronald (Sherry) Johnson, Jackie Johnson, Barry Johnson, Darrell Mooney Johnson, all of Littlefield, Texas, Chris (Kristy) Johnson of New Deal, Texas, and Ular Lee Johnson of Sudan, Texas; soul sister, Trinidad Riley of Littlefield, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, friends and many others. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the First Baptist Church in Amherst.
