Lisa Renee Coleman Wheeler, 50, left her earthly home on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Born on June 9, 1964 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Hazel H. Campbell and Richard Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Myers Campbell.
In addition to her mother, Hazel of Elon and her father, Richard of Madison Heights , she is survived by her two daughters, Jessica Lawson of Roseland and Megan Wheeler of Madison Heights; one grandson, Cole Lawson of Roseland; her sister, Regina C. Robertson and husband Mark; step-sister, Debbie C. Ware and husband Mike; two stepbrothers, Wayne Campbell and wife, Pam, of Concord and James Dalton Jr. and wife, Monica, of Madison Heights; stepmother, Sandra S. Coleman; nephews, Joey, Eric, Brian, Michael, Mark Anthony, and Jacob; one niece, Amber; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at Elon Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Tyree officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 2 p.m.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has faithfully prayed for and stood by the family and Renee thru her illness.
