Natalie Jill Cunningham, 34, the daughter of Michael and Mary McKim of Warrensburg, passed away Feb. 11, 2006, at Columbia Regional Hospital. Natalie was born Sept. 14, 1971 in Chillicothe, and she was preceded in death by her father, James Cunningham, who died in 1972.
Natalie was a very special person who touched the lives of many people. She lived in Columbia and resided in a Woodhaven assisted-living home. She participated in the Woodhaven Day Programs and lived life to the fullest. Natalie enjoyed socializing, friends and being active in the community. Natalie's smile and beautiful brown eyes always showed her zest for life. Her gentle spirit inspired all who knew her.
Natalie leaves behind a sister, Jennifer Self and husband Eric and two nephews of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, Matthew McKim of Independence, MO; a sister, Amy McKim of Wichita Falls, TX; maternal grandmother Jean Parsons of Falls City, NE; and paternal grandparents Kenneth and Helen Ruth McKim of Falls City, NE. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends who enjoyed being part of her life.
Natalie's life was always a celebration, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
She also was preceded in death by maternal grandfather William Parsons in 1981.
Pallbearers will be Eric Self, Lee Parsons, Larry Beezley, Doug Sackman, Brett Keller and Bart Keller. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Sackman, Brad Rae, Bill Parsons Jr. and Michael Parsons.
Funeral services will be Feb. 14, 2006, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. The eulogy will be given by Mr. C. Mark Palmer of NBA Woodhaven from Columbia. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
