Dorothy Louise Hughey Allison Baughman, 96, passed away on Thursday, October 9th at Givens Highland Farms in Black Mountain. She is preceded in death by husband Douglas Allison, husband Robert Baughman, daughter Margaret Rose Allison, son Kenneth Douglas Allison, sisters Ethel Hodgens, Evelyn Silver, Margaret Pearce, and a brother Hugh Lee Hughey.
Dorothy is survived by daughter, of Forest, VA, two grandchildren, one great-grandson, one great-great-granddaughter, four nieces and a daughter-in-law.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where she was also in the choir, and Chairperson of the Administrative Council. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Open call hours will be at Wilson Family Funeral Service in Black Mountain on Friday October 10th from 12-4 pm. Interment will be at 11 am on Saturday October 11th at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
