Sally Jane Steele began her new life as an angel on April 7. 2007. Sally was the daughter of Loyd Jon and Marilyn Vadare Short Steele and the sister of Shane and Steve Steele. Sally grew up in Marlow and Oklahoma City. Most of her adult life was spent in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by loved ones, numerous friends, and family. Sally attended Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City. After much determination she obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2000. Sally was a free spirit whose life was filled with smiles, hugs, laughter and rich in Chickasaw tradition. The legacy of Sally Steele lives on through her children, Trent Steele and Sunshine Maxwell, and her grandchildren, Grace, Emma and J.T. Steele, and Andrew and Caitlyn Richey.
