RAYMOND P. LYNCH, JR.

Raymond P. Lynch, Jr., 69, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19th at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, NJ. Raymond was born in Bayonne and resided there all his life.

He was a Detective for the Bayonne Police Department for over 25 years. Upon his retirement, he went to work for the Bayonne Board of Education as a Truant Officer, for 10 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam {1963 - 1966}.

Beloved Husband of the late Barbara (nee: Nolan). Devoted Father of Raymond P. Lynch, III, Kelly Lynch, and Deirdre Bottomly and her husband Jason. Cherished Grandfather of Nicholas, Austin and Joshua Rosa, Jacob and Grace Bottomly. Loving Brother of Anne Ciranello and her husband Thomas, Patricia Mastowski and her husband Henry, Lois Stout and her husband Brian. He is also survived by his dear nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Monday, June 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, June 24 at 10:00 am at St. Andrew's Church. Cremation to follow, Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. G.
