Mary L. Traylor Cormier, 98, of Waycross died Thursday morning (Oct. 9, 2014) at Baptist Village after a short illness. She was born in Hinesville, GA to the late Frederick Marvin Traylor and Mary Louise Baggs Driggers. Mrs. Cormier grew up in Gibsonton, FL and lived most of her life in Blackshear and Waycross. She was a Nurses aide and a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Harry Clyde Gordon and Joseph Cormier; two sons, Charlie Gordon and Dale Gordon.

Survivors include two daughters-in-law, Kathleen Gordon of Jacksonville, FL and Cathy S. Gordon of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Russell Gordon, Sherman Justice, Jr., David Justice, Mark Justice, Christopher Justice, and Michael Justice; numerous friends from Baptist Village and Sunnyside Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 pm at Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel.
