Lottie ”Carlene” Jackson Davis, 73, of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday October 6, 2014 at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born July 13, 1941 in Burgaw, NC the daughter of Elijah and Lottie Hankins Moore.

She was a devoted mother and home maker.

Surviving are her four children, Carolyn Jackson of Berryville, Yvonne Stribling and her husband Wayne of Marshall, Angelo Jackson of Summit Point WV, and Angelica Foreman and her husband Timmothy of Winchester; sisters, Thelma Spicer, Delores Talley, and Joyce Jackson; brothers Bobby and Lawrence Moore; grandchildren, William Jackson, Jakara Jackson, Timisha Foreman, Deangelo Jackson, Mia Jackson, Crystal Jackson, Kalvin McBride, Elizabeth Jackson, Mitchell Jackson, Dwayne Jackson, Prince Jackson, Nicole Hayden, Cheri Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Chante Jackson, Waukisha Kennedy, Yvette Williams, Kalika Turner, and Latisha Moore, and numerous Great-grandchildren.

Her husband, parents, two sisters, 3 brothers and a son, William F. Jackson, Jr. are deceased.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday at noon in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 33 Greenway Ave. South, Boyce with Bishop Bobby Hudnall officiating.

Burial will follow at Charles “Buster” Jackson Cemetery, White Post, Clarke County, Virginia.

Casket bearers will be William Jackson, Dwayne Jackson, LaPrince Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Jerry Talley, and Tony Talley.

Friends will be received at Phelps Funeral Chapel, 311 Hope Drive Winchester on Monday 7:00 -9:00p.m.
