Doris Emily Meyer Becker, 86, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Born on June 10, 1922 in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was a graduate of Louisville Girls High School. Mrs. Becker was a member of Iroquois Presbyterian Church, where she was a choir member and president of the Presbyterian Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Edward Becker.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Thomas (Gary); grandchildren, Erin Schyck (Mike), of Carnesville, GA, and Greg Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Mikey Schyck.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday with visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday. Burial Evergreen Cemetery.
