Claude Alvin Porter Sr., 94, of Lake Park, GA passed away at the Crestwood Nursing Home on Wednesday, October, 8, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Lake Park, GA on May 12, 1920 to the late John Lawrence and Julia Swilley Porter. Mr. Porter served in the United States Army during World War Two and returned to Lake Park after to become a farm mechanic and to raise his family
Mr. Porter was preceded in death by his wife Wilda Inell Porter, one son, Gene Porter, and two brothers, Felton Thomas Porter and M.G. Porter.
