My mother had devout religious beliefs - she lies in wait of the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection. As per her own handwritten words in the back of her Bible (words I think should have been placed on a headstone for her), are these:
"Ruby Coursey is my name.
America is my nation.
Williamson County my dwelling place.
The New World my expectation.
When I am dead and all my bones are rotten, this Good Book will tell my name when others have forgotten. Ruby Coursey, Leander, Texas."
