GRIDLEY - Lydia Frances Holloway, 83, of Gridley died at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday (March 8, 1994) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First United Church of Gridley, the Rev. Bruce Baker officiating. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Froelich Memorial Home, Gridley, and an hour before the service at the church.

She was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Coburg, Ky., the daughter of Calvin and Mary Eunice Williams Clark. She married Carl Holloway March 22, 1930, in Bloomington. He died May 3, 1975.

Survivors include one son, Bob, Chicago Heights; one daughter, Beverly Annable, Vienna, Ill.; three sisters, Lillian Fleming, Gridley, and Jane Brown and Irene Moncelle, both of Lexington; one brother, Ray Clark, Cooksville; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and one sister.

She was a member of First United Church of Gridley.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
