Margaret Barr Ellis
Margaret Barr Ellis was born Nov. 12, 1830, in Indiana Co, PA., and died at her home in Los Angeles, Calif. Nov. 13,1916, aged 96 years.
She was united in marriage with John S Ellis on Dec. 6,1848. She was converted and joined the M. E. Church at Brookville, in 1853 and continued an active Church Member until her death.
She is survived by her husband, five children, 27grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Four generations of the family attended the funeral in Los Angeles, Nov 14, 1916. Mr and Mrs were pioneers of Kingsley and the community extends sympathy in the hour of bereavement.
