Jane E. Douglas, 92, died March 11, 2009 in Westminster, Colorado.
She was born Oct. 25, 1916, to William and Dee Ina Tharp in Nashville, Illinois. On April 19,1941, she married John Douglas. He died in 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Tharp and her sister, Mary Ann Tharp.
She is survived by three children, John Douglas, his wife, Carol and sons Jeffrey (Ann) and Joel (Cathy); Mary Cooney, her husband, Mark and their children Catharine, Caroline, and Kevin; Catharine Campbell, her husband, Raymond, and their children Cara (Jonny) Clark and Brian (Jordan) Campbell.
She was graduated from the University of Illinois in 1938 with a bachelor's degree in economics. She was president of the Campus Women and a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
