Eunice M. Montgomery, 83, died Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. She had a Ceramics business at home called Eunice’s Ceramics. Eunice loved to volunteer for MIFA teaching ceramics at the community centers. She also loved doll collecting and making doll clothing. She was a member of Range Hills Baptist Church since 1974 and before that a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Ripley, Mississippi where she taught Sunday School. She was married to Aubrey H. Montgomery for over 68 years. Aubrey says, “And I enjoyed every year of it!” She was a fantastic wife and mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and cook. “She made the home and holidays very special to her family,” said Aubrey. Survivors include husband, Aubrey H. Montgomery of Memphis, daughter, Carol Camp of Millington, son, Johnny Monroe Montgomery of Munford, three grandchildren, Wayne (Crystal) Camp of Millington, Nathan (Stephanie) Montgomery of Brighton, and Robin (Brian) Deweese of Munford; nine great grandchildren, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Nathaniel and Alva Michael Thompson, and daughter, Mary Jane Depoe, and grandson, Gene Depoe. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5, 2014, from 4-6. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 1:00. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
