Bill Bledsoe, 81, died Friday, October 3, 2014 at his Millington home. Bill loved soul winning and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill accepted Jesus as his Savior in 1959 at the age of 26. He started teaching Sunday School later that year. He is currently a member of Lucy Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, and Sunday School teacher.Bill retired from Cardox Corporation after 55 years. His survivors include his wife, Joyce E. Bledsoe of Millington; son, Darryl Wayne Bledsoe of Millington; daughter, Elaine (Jimmy) Sands of Millington; and son, David A. (Laurie) Bledsoe of Brazil; two sisters, Cleda Lawson of Upper Marlboro, MD; and Jean Stepp of Bartlett; five grandchildren; and one great grandson. The family will receive friends at Lucy Baptist Church on Monday, October 6, 2014, from 9-11. Funeral Services will be at Lucy Baptist Church on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Arrangements by Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home.
